MICRA-Metripond Kft was founded in December 1991 from the former Hungarian METRIPOND scales factory with assistance of the Spanish company named CAMPESA S.A.

The capital of the company was 12 million HUF and the number of employees was 15. In the year 2004 the ownership of the company has changed. Actually, the majority shareholder is ELZAB S.A. from Poland and CAMPESA S.A. has got the minority of company’s shares.

During the years MICRA-Metripond Kft. became stronger and stronger. Now the company employs 26 persons and the company capital has risen from 12 million HUF to 104 million HUF. The yearly sales is close to 600 million HUF.

In the beginning, the company manufactured and distributed price multiplier and table scales. Later, the company started to deal with industrial, pieces counter, hybrid and extra plates scales.

The company scales are mostly connectable to PC systems. MICRA-Metripond Kft. also offers software for the communication between scales and PC.
The company’s price multiplier scales are ready for Euro introduction in Hungary. All company’s scales received type approval from the "Országos Mérésügyi Hivatal" (Hungarian Measurement Institution) or other European certifying institutions.
Our shop scales are legalised after manufacturing and large industrial and truck scales are legalised after installation at the customer’s location.

Therefore our customers get always legalised scales which are ready to use right after buying. Shop scales are sold on Hungarian market and industrial ones are mainly exported. Since starting our activity we have been sold about 25 000 pieces of scales. It means app. 30% of the total Hungarian market.

We sale scales to small shops, supermarkets and hipermarkets where our scales are working with PC systems managing activities of this objects. In the year 2005 we extended our activity with cash registers and peripherals imported from ELZAB S.A.

We distribute also other products supporting shops’ activities like price checkers, scanners, cash drawers – also from ELZAB S.A. The company has built the distribution and service network which covers whole Hungarian territory.

Our targets are: PUNCTUALITY, RELIABILITY and FLEXIBILITY. We want to offer these targets with competitive prices and we try to make our customers satisfied with products and services offered not only just after buying but also in the future during exploitation.
